This is probably my favorite piece I've hunted down at the Long Beach Flea Market. I needed something to replace my existing lower cabinet in the kitchen and I was willing to sacrifice a little storage space as long as the furniture went with my design aesthetic.
When I spotted this old metal cabinet with the reclaimed wood on top I knew it was the perfect piece. I didn't have my kitchen measurements on hand but I couldn't leave it behind so I was just hoping on my way home that it would fit (please please please fit.)
And sure enough it did and it made a perfect coffee bar. It still has a little bit of storage inside the cabinet but not as much as before. I still adore it and I love gazing at it in the morning waiting for my coffee to brew.
The gentlemen I purchased this cabinet from had stenciled "TOP SECRET" on the front. Eventually I'll rub it off and replace it with something else or nothing at all.
I added a towel bar on the side.
